Christmas Events in Yorkshire
The clocks have gone back and it's starting to feel more festive in Yorkshire. So we thought we'd share a selection of Christmas themed Yorkshire activities and events to get you in the spirit!

A Very Yorkshire Christmas
Pay a visit to York's most popular Christmas attraction, the outdoor ice rink, The Ice Factor. Returning this November to its new location at McArthurGlen's York Designer Outlet. The award winning ice rink will become the centre piece for a Yorkshire Winter Festival surrounded by a festive market and traditional fair rides alongside the skating, all adding to the Christmas magic.
The ‘award winning' Christmas Adventure is now open at Stockeld Park, Wetherby. Offering Ice skating, Nordic skiing, an Enchanted Forest, a huge snowflake maze, Santa's Grotto, a Christmas shop and Woodland cafe. There's also a fun packed schedule of special events and activities. Find your perfect real tree, with a wide selection of freshly grown non-needle drop Christmas trees on sale from Saturday 26th November.
There are plenty of other Chirstmas markets in Yorkshire so make sure you visit and raise a stein!
Christmas time is not complete without a visit to a pantomime. York Theatre Royal is host to The York Family Robinson - A New Pantomime written by Berwick Kaler open until 14th February 2012, oh no it's not...oh yes itis!
Burton Agnes Hall in East Yorkshire, opens the doors and offers visitors a chance to view the house in all its festive glory. Opening 14th November - 22nd December.
See Santa and his elves fly in for visit at the Yorkshire Air Museum, York on 18th, 20th and 21st December.
Enjoy horse jumping this boxing day with the Welcome to Yorkshire Christmas meeting takes place at Wetherby Racecourse on 26th - 27th December.
Santa lives far, far away in the North Pole - so far, that only a few people ever get to go there. Luckily, the Eureka! Elves have discovered a magical route that will help excited children find their way to Santa's winter wonderland in only a few steps. See Santa at Eureka! till 23rd December.
