1 Your Account

1.1 Access to the Website and Services is not authorised by any other person or entity using your User ID other than you and you are responsible for preventing such unauthorised use. Individuals and entities whose privilege to access the Website or use the Services has previously been terminated by Yorkshire.com may not register for an account, nor may you designate any such individuals to use your account on your behalf.

1.2 Yorkshire.com relies on User IDs to determine whether users accessing the Website and using our Services are authorised to do so. If someone accesses our Website or Services using a User ID that we have issued to you, we will assume that access has been made by you. You are solely responsible for any and all access to the Website or use of the Services by persons using your User ID. Please notify us immediately if you become aware that your User ID is being used without authorisation.

2 Security and Privacy

Santa Claus is coming to Yorkshire

Santa Claus is a busy man, but he's never too busy for Yorkshire! We've put together a list of places that you can find this festive hero and, if you're nice to him, he'll probably give you a present! If you're extra lucky, you might get to spot some of his fantastic reindeer, elves and helpers too.


Where to find Santa's grotto in Yorkshire

Ho, ho, ho, Merry Christmas!

Here's where you can find Father Chrismas this winter:

  • All the elves at Stockeld Park have been working really hard to build Santa a brand new Grotto! Help them welcome him back to Stockeld Park and visit him in his luxury log cabin in beautiful woodland surroundings. Celebrate Santa's arrival at Stockeld Park in November; see his reindeer in their pen and follow Santa and his sleigh around our Enchanted Forest in a wonderful parade.
  • Keighley and Worth Valley Railway - Join the Santa Special at Oxenhope, Haworth or Keighley Stations for a ten-mile return journey on our steam train, lasting around an hour. Experience nostalgia and the magic of Christmas in our specially decorated coaches, with festive music to get you into the mood. Santa and his pixies visit each child during the journey, delivering presents and the grown-ups are served with a mince pie and seasonal drink: the perfect way for you and your family to start the Christmas season.
  • Father Christmas is now busy working in his grotto at Clapham's Ingleborough Cave. You are invited to visit him on: 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th, 21st and 22nd December. Children price is £7.00 (inc present).
  • Join Xscape Yorkshire for a magical Christmas adventure this December.. Down at their giant snowglobe. Once there you will get the chance to meet Father Christmas himself and his ever helpful friends "The National Elf Service" and if you've been a good boy or girl Santa will have a little present for you to keep under the tree until Christmas day..
  • Santa Cruises with Pennine Boat Trips - Wait for Santa to jump on board with a bag of super presents! Then Join in the fun, with a wizard and his magic. Monster juice for kids, coffee & mince pies for adults.
  • Santa's Steam Adventure, National Railway Museum - Join Santa on an exciting steam adventure filled with magic and fun this Christmas. Help him prepare for his busiest time of the year and your little ones will be rewarded with a special present during your journey. As the steam ride comes to an end, relax and enjoy a festive snack and drink.
  • Christmas at Harewood House. Children can spend time with Father Christmas by the fireside over the festive period for a storytelling session as he spreads the Christmas spirit. Each child will receive an individual gift and there will be photo opportunities with Father Christmas himself. Don't forget to download our Christmas tree craft activity to bring on the day!
  • An Audience with Father Christmas at Brodsworth Hall - Meet Father Christmas at the stately Brodsworth Hall, filling the house with tales and stories of Christmas traditions. Take the opportunity to relax and enjoy heart warming tales with photos and a small gift for each child. Wrap up in your warmest clothes to enjoy the Hall and the experience.
  • Santa Claus is coming to Eureka! So have you been naughty or nice? Panto & Christmas craft activities free with standard admission or your Eureka! Annual Pass.
  • Make their Christmas magical with a visit to Santa in his beautiful log cabin in Yorkshire's Winter Wonderland at York Designer Outlet. The grotto will be open regularly in the run up to Christmas, and Santa and his elves look forward to welcoming you to his grotto from in Yorkshire's Winter Wonderland this festive season.
  • Join Santa and his special helpers for some festive fun this Christmas at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, with the Santa Express shuttle service departing Pickering, Grosmont and Whitby stations. Perfect for families with young children, embark on this magical adventure on-board the Santa Express to meet Santa in his Grotto on-board the train. What better way to start the festive season? Ticket price includes return travel, a present for each child, a scrumptious mince pie for everyone, warming hot drinks, juice for the children and adults can enjoy a complimentary alcoholic tipple.
  • Dive into the Deep this Christmas - Get into the festive spirit this Christmas at Hull's award-winning submarium and talk to Santa live from the North Pole! He will be talking to us every Saturday and Sunday throughout December through our very special big screen at 11.30am and 3pm. All children who take part will also receive a small gift.
  • Santa Underground at the National Coal Mining Museum: Meet Father Christmas, 140m underground in his magical grotto throughout December! Plus don't miss our Pocket Panto, Craft & Gift Fair and seasonal treats...!
  • Give your Children a great treat and visit Santa's Grotto at Ripley Castle this Christmas.
  • Santa's Magical Grotto at Thorp Perrow Arboretum. Come and meet Santa and his elves in his NEW magical winter wonderland......follow the magic stars and clues to the place where the snowmen live. A wonderful adventure for children and adults alike!!
