Go Ape!

Go Ape!

Climb the trees, slide across high wires and crawl
through tunnels at Go Ape!

Climb the trees and slide across high wires, crawl through tunnels, cross rope bridges, walk the planks and zip down to the ground!

Go Ape is an award-winning high wire forest adventure course of rope bridges, tarzan swings and zip slides... all set high up in the tree tops.

Providing a fun day out with friends, families or colleagues, you'll be fitted with a climbing harness and given instruction before trekking from tree to tree high above the forest floor. Split into a number of different sections, the experience takes approximately 2.5-3 hours to complete but may vary depending on how many people are up in the trees.

Go Ape, DalbyThe forest at Dalby comprises mostly of pines and spruces, yet there are many broadleaf trees such as oak, beech, ash, alder and hazel both in the valleys and on the 'Riggs'. With clear streams arising in springs and running north and south out of the forest, this really is a wildlife experience deep in Yorkshire’s countryside heart.

Home to birds such as the crossbill and that elusive summer visitor the nightjar, the forest is alive with animal activity - roe deer abound and badgers, the symbol of the forest, are a very common but nocturnal resident.

The signs of past residents are all around. Burial mounds, linear earthworks of unknown purpose and the remains of a flourishing rabbit warrening industry can be found throughout the wood.

A network of forest roads including the 9 mile Dalby Forest Drive provide access to this outstanding landscape. Formed in the Ice Age and shaped by the people from the Bronze Age to the present day, Dalby is very much a forest worth visiting.
