Bradford is ideal for a Yorkshire holiday, with its magnificent museums, galleries, theatres, restaurants and bars. 

The National Media Museum is one of Bradford’s most popular attractions and is a great way to spend an afternoon. Why not learn more about Bradford’s history at the Bradford Industrial Museum or Bradford Cathedral?  Art lovers can seek inspiration at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery situated in Lister Park, recently voted as one of the UK’s best parks.   

Nearby is the village of Saltaire, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to one of the largest collections of art by David Hockney.

Haworth, with its quaint Main Street, provides intriguing shops, cafés, restaurants and pubs, as well as the Brontë Parsonage Museum.  The original home of the renowned literary family is preserved as it would have been in their day.

One of the best ways to admire Brontë Country is to take a ride on the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway.  This steam railway runs from Keighley to Oxenhope.

Alternatively, you can appreciate the panoramic views from Ilkley Moor, which provides a wonderful backdrop for the spa town of Ilkley.  Ilkley is the place to stay for those who enjoy walking and the outdoors.
