Ingleton

Ingleton is a picturesque little market town which lies in the shadows of Ingleborough one of the magnificent Three Peaks.  It is surrounded by natural beauty both above and below ground, with caves, waterfalls and mountains.  The town has a network of narrow, winding streets leading to the market place with a selection of galleries, workshops and gift shops and where every Friday there’s an open market. 

Ingleton is an ideal base whatever your chosen activity.  There is the leisurely Waterfall Walk through the beautiful woodland, or for the more adventurous there is the 25 miles of outstanding beauty whilst completing the Three Peaks either on foot or mountain bike. 

Underground there is adventure for both the experienced caver and the novice.  Visit the amazing White Scar Caves or Ingleborough Show Cave for guided tours, or for the more adventurous there is a labyrinth of complex potholes and caves.
