The unmissable attraction Whitby Abbey, said to be Bram Stokers inspiration for Dracula’s castle. Take the walk of 199 steps and visit this eerie gothic setting.
Tired from all those steps? Why not relax with Fish and Chips down in the port or on the jetty? Or make a visit to the famous Magpie Café!
Also, the Royal Crescent on the West Cliff provide a relaxed setting, dating from the 1850's and provides an impressive backdrop to Crescent Gardens. The gardens are laid out in colourful formal beds, which provide you with a peaceful setting to enjoy the spectacular coastal views of the area.

Whitby is perfect combined with a stay in the beautiful heather moorland of the North Yorkshire Moors and has varied attractions to explore nearby such as Sneaton Castle, adjacent to the ancient St Hildas Abbey.
