Visiting the Dales by Coach?
There are numerous operators who organise day visits to the Dales by coach. Lightwater Valley Country Shopping Village offer a Group Day Packages brochure and combine a visit to the shopping village with other Dales' attractions, such as  Newby Hall, Bolton Abbey or even the Black Sheep Brewery!

Many of the attractions in the Yorkshire Dales welcome coaches and people travelling in groups, such as Fountains Abbey, Bolton Abbey,  Skipton, Raby, Middleham, Ripley and Richmond Castles, the Dales Countryside Museum and Thorp Perrow Arboretum & Falconry to name but a few.

Visiting the Dales by Train?
For a unique Dales experience, journey through the beautiful Dales' countryside on a steam train or take a journey to Bolton Abbey on the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway. Alternatively, you could enjoy a journey along the famous Settle to Carlisle Railway.
