Driffield

The 500 year old tower of All Saint's Church can be seen for miles around like a beacon guiding visitors to the town, but it was the opening of the Driffield Canal which put the town firmly on the map in the 19th century. The Riverhead is still a focus today. With it's converted warehouses and restored town lock. It's tranquillity and beauty also provides a gateway to lovely walks out in the Wolds countryside.

Driffield offers a vibrant shopping experience, with many individual shops and famous high street names. Enjoy the bustling street market every Thursday or attend one of the regular antique auctions. Lovers of fresh local produce will enjoy the area's premier farmers market held on the first Saturday each month at the showground.

Driffield offers a wide range of eateries, with everything from continental style cafes and contemporary restaurants to the several historic inns situated in the town centre.
The annual Driffield Show is the largest one-day agricultural show in the UK, bringing together the agricultural community with country crafts and exhibitions.
