Get away from it all and discover 18 miles of walking trails around Dalby Forest

Dalby forest offers over 8,000 acres of woodland to explore and enjoy, including play areas for children, barbecues for the family and plenty of waymarked trails for all abilities. Choose from any one of the nine trails that start from various point in Dalby Forest and take in the beauty of the forest, views across the forest and moors and may be you will encounter some of the local wildlife.

Enjoy and explore the Visitor Centre. Find out more about Dalby Forest and the surrounding area, learn about sustainable living and have fun with the hands-on interactive displays for a different learning experience. There is a forest shop offering an attractive range of gifts, books and souvenirs. There is also a large restaurant with extensive indoor and outdoor seating, offering a wide range of snacks and meals for all the family. Dalby Courtyard has craft workshops, a cafe and cycle centre.

Dalby offers exciting adventure play equipment for children to enjoy at Sneverdale and Adderstone Field.

Have a go
Dalby Forest, near Pickering. Access is via the A169 Pickering to Whitby road. Look for brown tourist signs.

There is an admission charge of £7 per car, different rates apply for other vehicles. An excellent value season ticket is available.
