The Experience
In August 2008 the British Heart Foundation is staging its second 'Lancaster to York Bike Ride (Ride of the Roses)' that will see hundreds of cyclists raising tens of thousands of pounds as they tackle the 100 mile route between the historic townships of Lancaster and York.

The Ride of the Roses will see participants heading out from the University campus in the historic town of Lancaster before passing through the Trough of Bowland, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and onwards to the finish in the beautiful town of York.

The 100 mile Route has been designed so that riders are taken through some of the country's most beautiful scenery, starting and finishing in 2 of the country's most historic towns.

All riders will receive a free Ride of the Roses T Shirt in red or white.  Which county will you represent in your own personal battle to complete the Ride of the Roses?
