Burton Agnes HallBurton Agnes Hall is a joy to visit - enjoy award-winning gardens, the Manor house with magnificent Elizabethan style or the Hall, filled with treasures from over four centuries.

Built in 1598 by Sir Henry Griffith and still lived in by his descendants, Burton Agnes Hall is full of treasures and original Elizabethan carvings and plasterwork. Surrounded by lawns and yew topiary bushes the Hall stands in splendid settings, while the old walled garden are filled with collections of roses, clematis, herbs and perennials contained in a potager, a maze, jungle garden and coloured gardens with giant board games - a great source fun for all the family!


The Hall has been home to fifteen generations of the Cunliffe-Lister family, and is rated by Simon Jenkins as one of the top twenty English houses alongside Windsor Castle, Buckingham Palace, Chatsworth and Blenheim Palace.

Take the time to enjoy woodland walks or venture to the gift shop and garden shop, before enjoying some fresh local produce from the Farmers Food Store.

Bridlington SpaVisit the hall 14th November - 21st December and enjoy the festive season in style. With beautiful decorations in the Hall and festive celebrations in the Courtyard, you are in for a real treat. The hall and grounds will be open daily, 11am-5pm, from Friday the 14th of November until Sunday the 21st December. There will be a late opening on Friday 19th December until 7:30pm with mulled wine in the courtyard.

Venture to the nearby coastal resort of Bridlington, with its Blue Flag awarded North Beach and enjoy some fresh coastal air and sea views. Bridlington is an ideal location for some relaxation and people watching in the bustling harbour. The newly refurbished Spa is a prime entertainment venue now hosting a variety of live bands, drama, music, comedy and sports. Enjoy a bite to eat with views of the promenade, just moments away from the town centre shops.


Hull WaterfrontHull is a vibrant and dynamic city in East Yorkshire. Brimming with shops, cafes, entertainment venues and friendly people, you will be spoiled for choice. Visit the new shopping centre, St Stephens or enjoy food and drink along the riverside. With eight free museums in the Museums Quarter, and The Deep, the World's only 'submarium' with over 3500 fish and 40 sharks, there is a real sense of culture, exploration and heritage.


East Yorkshire is also home to miles of rolling countryside and open spaces. Stole along the Yorkshire Wolds Way from Hull to the Coast and spend time in hidden market villages. Visit Beverley with its busy events calendar or spend time exploring Hornsea or Withernsea.
