The breeding season for common seals is now upon us and the new Seal Rescue Centre at Scarborough SEA LIFE and Marine Sanctuary has already welcomed its first patient. The animal care team are expecting a full house within a matter of time and you can get even closer to the action. The new Seal Rescue Centre invites visitors to sample for themselves what it is like to care for these amazing creatures. The animal care team are dedicated to the Rescue, Rehabilitation, Recovery, Release and Retirement of seals and you can take part in activities and learn how to care for abandoned seals in the new Seal Rescue Academy.

Meet Nemo and friends as you take a wander around our natural recreation of the awe-inspiring Great Barrier Reef.  Learn more about Jellyfish in one of the most impressive displays showcasing Moon Jellyfish and Upside-down Jellyfish among others. At the Centre, a team of experts offer a range of educational talks and feeding demonstrations of amazing animals including seals, penguins and otters. The Centre also offers disabled access and features a café with a soft play area and a gift shop.
