It's a well known fact that Guy Fawkes was born in the heart of Yorkshire, York. A slightly less known fact is that the Yorkshire community annually, on the 5th November, come together to put on a wide range of special events that guarantee to light up your evening. Whether your preference is a bonfire, a fireworks display or just a good old-fashioned get together, Yorkshire has something for everyone. Below are some of the highlights that are not to be missed this year.

Firework spectacular choreographed to a music soundtrack featuring hit songs, chosen by listeners of Minster FM and produced by one of the country's leading display companies, Alchemy Fireworks. Not to mention, a giant bonfire to give the city's most infamous resident a good roasting!
Bivouac campsite will be hosting a Bonfire Night on Thursday 9 November. This will be a special intimate bonfire night with fire, friends, family and food. There will be fire, music, food and dance. Improving on last year's event means this years event will be even bigger and even better!
Kaboom is north Yorkshire's biggest bonfire night firework party. This year's explosive and theatrical firework display is presented by one of the world's best pyrotechnicians and features fully choreographed fireworks, lasers, lighting and special effects synchronised to a specially commissioned music track.
The South Milford Annual Bonfire is the largest bonfire in the area, and raises much needed funds to aid the communities of South Milford and Monk Fryston. The event offers to be the best firework display around the east Leeds area.

The Beverley Lions Club are have organised their annual Fireworks Display on Guy Fawkes Night. This will take place on the Beverley Westwood. The Beverley Lions Club is looking forward to providing this free spectacular evening of traditional entertainment for everyone.

As usual, Hull Wyke Round Table is hosting another spectacular firework display at Humberdale Farm, Swanland. In addition to an amazing firework display and bonfire there will be hot food available (including a very popular hog roast), mulled wine and a number of other snacks and refreshments. There's a steam organ, games to play and more!
What goes BOOM deep in the Yorkshire Forest?! It's Stockeld Park's spectacular fireworks display, set to music it's a loud and proud Yorkshire evening of entertainment!
Yummy Yorkshire, the award-winning artisan ice cream producer based near Huddersfield, is hosting a family-friendly bonfire and firework display on Saturday 2 November. This year, visitors to the bonfire at Yummy Yorkshire's farm will be able to indulge in a range of special bonfire food including frankfurter hotdogs, jacket spuds with chilli and chicken curry (Veggies are catered for too). Yummy Yorkshire is also putting its range of classic bonfire night inspired ice creams back on the menu in time for Bonfire Night.
Come to Hullen Edge Park to see the Elland Round Table public Bonfire and Firework Display, the Biggest and Best in the area! Now in its 43rd year. This annual bonfire with two firework displays (children's and main event), fairground and stalls is a well known charity event that promises fun for all the family.
The spectacular bonfire and firework display is to celebrate the failed plot to blow up the Houses of Parliament and with it James the 1st by Guy Fawkes of 5th November 1605. After Dark is Yorkshire's No 1 Fireworks Spectacular attracting up to 20,000 people each year. The event was established in 1996 and now offers Live Music on the Real Radio Stage, funfair, bonfire, food stalls, bar & a massive fireworks display set to music.
Owlerton Greyhound Stadium is hosting a special night of racing for all the family on Sunday 4th November and will top the night off with a Firework Spectacular display!
