1 Your Account

1.1 Access to the Website and Services is not authorised by any other person or entity using your User ID other than you and you are responsible for preventing such unauthorised use. Individuals and entities whose privilege to access the Website or use the Services has previously been terminated by Yorkshire.com may not register for an account, nor may you designate any such individuals to use your account on your behalf.

1.2 Yorkshire.com relies on User IDs to determine whether users accessing the Website and using our Services are authorised to do so. If someone accesses our Website or Services using a User ID that we have issued to you, we will assume that access has been made by you. You are solely responsible for any and all access to the Website or use of the Services by persons using your User ID. Please notify us immediately if you become aware that your User ID is being used without authorisation.

2 Security and Privacy

2.1 Our secure server software encrypts all your payment card details. The process scrambles all the information, allowing no unauthorised third party to intercept the data. Your browser will confirm that you are shopping in a secure environment by showing either a locked padlock icon or an image of a padlock next to the payment details in the relevant area of the Website.

2.2 Information such as credit card information provided in connection with the purchase of a Deal is maintained with appropriate privacy and security protections. No sensitive information (including credit card details) is held on the Website.

2.3 You agree that information provided to us in connection with the purchase of a Deal, other than your credit card information, may be disclosed by us to the Merchant for their commercial purposes including for the purposes of providing the Deal to you.

Bridlington North Beach

Bridlington North is an award winning Blue Flag sand and shingle beach surrounded by wide promenades backed against the impressive Flamborough cliffs. Bridlington's beaches - North and South, beach huts, the picturesque, bustling harbour and a town full of family attractions make for the perfect seaside resort.

 

Whitby Beach

Whitby Beach offers something for everyone: Blue Flag waters for those who like a paddle; fascinating rock pools for those interested in the local marine life; spectacular cliffs steeped in geological history for visiting explorers; and clean sandy beaches for those who just like to relax in the sunshine and soak up the atmosphere. Chalets are available to hire during the summer months, and a cliff lift offers a quick and convenient trip up and down the cliffs for when there is just too much to carry.

 

Scarborough North Bay

Blue Flag awarded, sandy family beach backed by hills and cliffs. Scarborough Castle dominates the skyline overlooking the beach - and a miniature railway running right along the bay. With its beaches - North and South, boat trips and attractions this is the ideal family destination for holiday fun and relaxation.

 

Cayton Bay

A favourite with surfers, this magnificent wide sweeping bay is a magnet for summer holidaymakers but is beautiful whatever time of the year you visit. Great for bird watchers and fossil hunters or those who just want to relax and admire the beauty of this unspoilt area.

 

Runswick Bay

Small sheltered beach with rock pools either side of the bay. The beach is in front of a picture-postcard village where the houses seem to be clinging to the steep hillside. Ideal for families and walkers.

 

Filey

A glorious wide stretch of golden sand. Set in a sweeping bay, the beach is protected by the rocky grandeur of Filey Brigg, a haven for a variety of birds and wildlife. Behind the beach is the elegant Edwardian resort with its historical promenade and family-friendly atmosphere.

 

Danes Dyke

On the south side of the dramatic Flamborough Headland, the beach at Danes Dyke is an impressive 1km stretch of sand, striking white pebbles and rock pools, bound by imposing cliffs to the east and west. There are nature trails which run through Danes Dyke Local Nature Reserve. On the south side of the headland at the end of the dyke is a deep ravine giving wonderful views across Bridlington Bay. Great for fossil hunting.

 

Sandsend Beach

A small, picturesque beach situated on Yorkshire's heritage coastline. It is a popular haunt with fossil collectors and fishing enthusiasts. An ideal playground for the family with the beck providing safe paddling and boating for children of all ages. The beach runs into Whitby Sands which makes it a nice length for a brisk walk.

 

Hornsea

Blue Flag award-winning beach, made up of fine golden sand and shingle, and behind it is the newly revamped promenade. The beach marks one end of the Trans-Pennine Trail.

 

Spurn Head

Spurn Head is a truly unique place in England. This National Nature Reserve is three and a half miles long and only fifty metres wide in places.

Situated on the north bank of the entrance to the River Humber. A beautiful place for bird watching, sea fishing, walking or just a day out with the family.
