Natural England, in association with Country Walking, is offering one lucky person and their walking partner the chance to win an amazing expenses paid hike along the Pennine Way.

The national trail is the godfather of British long distance paths, a formidable and fantastic walk along the backbone of Britain, linking some of the country's most exceptional natural landmarks, including 80 miles through Yorkshire's South Pennines and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. 

The prize will cover the accommodation costs for both of you for up to 18 nights, on either a B&B or camping basis (the choice is yours). It will also pay for a baggage transfer service if required so you need only carry a day rucksack on the trail.

In recognition of this extraordinary opportunity and valuable prize, Country Walking would like to know:

Terms & Conditions

1. The prize must be taken between April and December 2010.
2. The editor's decision is final. 
3. The winner must agree to feature in a future issue of Country Walking. 
4. The competition is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over who enter on or before closing date stated above. 
5. No purchase is necessary, but only one entry per person is allowed. 
6. Anyone who enters more than once will be excluded. 
7. The winner will be notified by writing on or after February 14th, 2010. 
8. Persons involved in the promotion and execution of the competition, employees of the Promoters and their sister companies and/or their relatives and anyone in the employee's household, and their sponsors are not eligible for entry into the draw. 9. If for any reason beyond the promoter's control it is not possible to provide the stated prizes, the promoter reserves the right to award an alternative prize of no lesser value. 
10. The promoter's choice of alternative prize is final.  No entries can be returned and no correspondence will be entered into by the promoter. 
11. The promoter accepts no responsibility for resultant loss or damage to persons or properties (other than death or personal injury due to negligence of the promoters or their agents) as a result of this prize being awarded. 
12. We reserve the right to feature the names, photos, and locations of winners in future promotions.
