Yorkshire Heart Vineyard is a stunning picturesque venue for anyone looking for somewhere a bit different to hold their special day… you don’t get much more unique than a Vineyard in the heart of Yorkshire!
The Vineyard provides you with an idyllic rural location to celebrate in style, with our fantastic views over 35 acres plus passionate & committed team you can be confident that Yorkshire heart are here to make your day magical supporting you every step of the way.
Our Marquee is perfect for larger weddings & can seat up to 120 people or 180 people standing, complete with window sides to capture the stunning views of the vineyard, floating linings, chandelier lighting, fairy lights, white clothed tables & chairs for 120, fully stocked bar & sound system, all ready for you to put your own stamp on with the decorations.
Our Winehouse building is perfect for smaller more intimate weddings & can seat up to 60 people or 80 people standing, complete with windows
all around to capture the stunning views of the vineyard, modern fixtures and fitting, its own bar, toilet and sound system.
Also available to book for adult or children parties, engagements, christenings, funeral teas, anniversaries, lunches, dinners, meetings & team building days.
Tours & Tastings
With 35 acres of fantastic views of vines & natural beauty it’s not surprising that Yorkshire Heart’s tours & tastings have become extremely popular, our tours run throughout the year on selected days and the wine house is open for light lunches & afternoon teas. Vineyard tours include tasting our sparkling wine whilst being shown around the vineyard by owners Chris & Gillian before heading back inside to enjoy a tasting of our still wines with delicious nibbles in a relaxed & friendly atmosphere. Brewery tours are also available to book. We are so thankful to work where we do every day our enthusiasm to share the products we produce shines through, people leave amazed and enthused by the experience & the knowledge of our team.
The Wine House Café & Shop
The wine house is open on selected dates throughout winter (please check our website) and will be open full time from spring 2018, so pop in for a coffee & cake, light lunch or just to buy a bottle of beer or wine (or two) we would love to see you!
The Vineyard
Our award-winning wines are produced from grapes grown in our Vineyard at Nun Monkton, York, handpicked by our dedicated team of helpers and processed in our very own modern winery. Winemaker Gillian carefully monitors the wines during the 12-month fermentation/maturation period. All wines are stabilized before filtering, bottling, labelling and packaging in house. Our Sparkling wines are the only sparkling fully produced from grape to glass in Yorkshire by means of the traditional Champagne method of 2nd fermentation. We are immensely proud of a business that creates fine artisan Yorkshire products by our very hard-working team.
