The Black Swan at Oldstead was recently announced as the only new Michelin Star restaurant in the North of England for 2012. The once humble Black Swan, which is also the only pub in Yorkshire with 3 AA Rosettes, has that rare ability to be relaxed and friendly whilst serving seriously good food. The original building dates back to the 16th century and is set in a lovely rural location near Helmsley, 20 miles north of York in The North York Moors National Park.
