Chinthurst is an elegant amd imposing Victorian house which has now been fully refurbished in an Edwardian style, to incorporate tastefully designed ensuite rooms. Breakfast is served in our Dining room and Conservatory, where you may also relax during your stay. The house is set amongs trees and its own lawned gardens, with excellent private parking within the grounds. The Executive Suite has a sumptuous four poster, king-sized bed. Full English breakfast is served in our elegant dining room overlooking the garden. Ground floor rooms are available.Chinthurst provides an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding television filmsettings of Emmerdale and James Herriot, along with Bronte Country at Haworth. A little closer to home there is Skipton Castle, Bolton Abbey and the Embsay Steam Railway, Kettlewell for its Scarecrow Festival and the setting for much of the world famous Calendar Girls story, and the Dickensian Festival at Grassington. Events take place all year round, with the Waterways Festival, Sheep Day, Festival of Trasport, Farmers markets and Skipton Market, Grassington Festival.Local restaurants, cafes, bars, tearooms and pubs serve traditional and comtemporary foods to suit all tastes and pockets
