It’s been a year since The Civic’s grand reopening in March 2009, and we’ve already seen a whole host of happenings that have wowed audiences at The Civic with a diverse range of dynamic and contemporary events, entertainment and exhibitions. We’re currently in the midst of our Spring season, with the Summer season set to take over in May. We are looking forward to an array of new and exciting events including Comedy, Theatre, Dance, Music , our Family shows that are great for younger audiences, and fantastic exhibitions in our Gallery@. We also have a cinema club, so there’s plenty of reasons to be coming to The Civic! The Civic still aims to provide a contemporary, creative and cultural environment to offer both local visitors and those from further afield the fantastic opportunity to access a broad and diverse selection of arts events and activities in Barnsley. We can’t wait to see you at one of our events!
