The 72 mile long Settle-Carlisle line is said to be one of the world’s greatest railway journeys. With stunning scenery on either side, any time of year, this is a train journey which always delivers.

Description

Marvel at the spectacular limestone landscape of the Three Peaks, travel over the iconic Ribblehead viaduct, and admire the lush green Eden Valley with its distant views of the Lakeland Fells.  There are seven comfortable, modern trains in both directions every weekday between Leeds and Carlisle, and an excellent service at weekends too – all year round.
