1 Your Account

1.1 Access to the Website and Services is not authorised by any other person or entity using your User ID other than you and you are responsible for preventing such unauthorised use. Individuals and entities whose privilege to access the Website or use the Services has previously been terminated by Yorkshire.com may not register for an account, nor may you designate any such individuals to use your account on your behalf.

1.2 Yorkshire.com relies on User IDs to determine whether users accessing the Website and using our Services are authorised to do so. If someone accesses our Website or Services using a User ID that we have issued to you, we will assume that access has been made by you. You are solely responsible for any and all access to the Website or use of the Services by persons using your User ID. Please notify us immediately if you become aware that your User ID is being used without authorisation.

2 Security and Privacy

2.1 Our secure server software encrypts all your payment card details. The process scrambles all the information, allowing no unauthorised third party to intercept the data. Your browser will confirm that you are shopping in a secure environment by showing either a locked padlock icon or an image of a padlock next to the payment details in the relevant area of the Website.

2.2 Information such as credit card information provided in connection with the purchase of a Deal is maintained with appropriate privacy and security protections. No sensitive information (including credit card details) is held on the Website.

2.3 You agree that information provided to us in connection with the purchase of a Deal, other than your credit card information, may be disclosed by us to the Merchant for their commercial purposes including for the purposes of providing the Deal to you.

Cleveland Way

Great Ayton, North Yorkshire
Grade: Strenuous
A fairly strenuous 7.3 mile circular walk from an ancient village at the north western edge of the North York Moors National Park near Guisborough.  Includes 'Yorkshire's Matterhorn' - aka Roseberry Topping. Accessible by train - Great Ayton Railway Station on the Esk Valley Line is an alternative start point.

Hambleton Hills, from Sutton Bank to Osmotherley, North Yorkshire
Grade: Easy/moderate
An 11.2 mile linear day walk taking in the stunning western flank of the North York Moors National Park.  Accessible by bus.

Moors and Coast, Kildale, North Yorkshire
A 16.6 mile two day linear walk starting in Kildale and following the northern escarpment of the North York Moors to finish at the coast at Saltburn-by-the-Sea.

North Yorkshire Coast
A 20.8 mile two day linear walk taking in the classic coastal scenery between Whitby and Scarborough, with an overnight stop at Robin Hood's Bay.

Osmotherley Ramble, Osmotherley, North Yorkshire
Grade: Moderate
A 4.8 mile circular walk from an archetypal North York Moors village on the western edge of the Cleveland Hills near Northallerton.

Ravenscar Round, Ravenscar, North Yorkshire
Grade: Easy
Try a coastal section of the Cleveland Way as part of a 4.3 or 5.9 mile circular walk from a coastal village at the southern end of Robin Hood's Bay (midway between Whitby and Scarborough).

Yorkshire Wolds Way

Market Weighton Meander, East Yorkshire
Grade: Easy
A 7 mile circular walk from a Walkers are Welcome market town on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds between York and Beverley.

Settrington Circuit, North Yorkshire
Grade: Moderate
A 5.2 mile circular walk above the estate village of Settrington at the north-western tip of the Yorkshire Wolds near Norton-on-Derwent and Malton.

Thixendale Round, North Yorkshire
Grade: Moderate
An 8 mile circular walk from a small village tucked away in dry valleys of the Yorkshire Wolds between York and Driffield.

Welton Wander, East Yorkshire
Grade: Moderate
A great introduction to the Yorkshire Wolds on this 4.3 mile circular walk, with plenty of woodland, uplifting views across the Humber Estuary and a chance to walk in the footsteps of an infamous highwayman.

Wolds Edge, West Heslerton, North Yorkshire
Grade: Moderate
A 9.9 mile linear day walk on the northern chalk escarpment of the Yorkshire Wolds ending in Staxton.  Accessible by bus.

Pennine Way

Gargrave Ramble, Gargrave, North Yorkshire
Grade: Moderate
A 6.5 mile circular walk from this village on the southern edge of the Yorkshire Dales near Skipton. Accessible by train.

Hebden Bridge Round, Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire
Grade: Challenge
A 7.4 mile circular walk from this Walkers are Welcome town in the Upper Calder Valley near Halifax. Accessible by train.

Standedge Circuit, Marsden, West Yorkshire
Grade: Moderate
A 10 mile circular walk from Marsden village at the head of the Colne Valley near Huddersfield. Accessible by train.

Stoodley Pike Hike, Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire
Grade: Challenge
A 6 mile walk from the Calderdale's Hebden Bridge. Accessible by train.

Pennine Bridleway

Settle Loop, Settle, North Yorkshire
Grade: Challenge
A 10 mile circular walk from the bustling Yorkshire Dales edge market town. Accessible by train.

Mountain bike routes and horse rides on the Pennine Bridleway

Crummack Dales Dabs, Clapham, North Yorkshire
A 12 mile circular mountain bike ride from the Yorkshire Dales edge village of Clapham between Settle and Ingleton. Accessible by train - Clapham station is only one mile away.  There are a few technical bits, but for the most part it's not too demanding and takes roughly between 2.5 to 5 hours.

Hard'en Fast, Bingley, West Yorkshire
A 13.5 mile circular mountain bike ride from the small town of Bingley in the Aire Valley near Bradford that uses parts of the Calder Aire Link. Accessible by train.

Hilly Hebden, Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire
Hebden Bridge in the upper Calder Valley near Halifax is the starting point for a fairly challenging 14-mile circular mountain bike ride, taking roughly between 2.5 and 4 hours.  Accessible by train.

Littleborough - Lake to Lake, Hollingworth Lake Visitor Centre, Nr Rochdale
A 10 or 20 mile circular mountain bike ride on the Lancashire and Yorkshire border north of Manchester. Accessible by train.

Mary Towneley Loop
A 47 mile circular section of the Pennine Bridleway forming a challenging day ride or more leisurely 2-day ride for mountain bikers (3-4 days on horse or foot).  Choose your starting point according to your transport needs.  Hebden Bridge is one such place when the route can be accessed.

The Settle Loop, Settle, North Yorkshire
A 10 mile mountain bike or horse ride from Settle.  Accessible by train.

South Pennines, Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire
An epic two day linear off-road ride of 49.4 miles over the moorland landscape of the South Pennines with a visit to mountain biking hotspot, Hebden Bridge.  Accessible by train.

Calder Aire Link, Bingley St Ives, West Yorkshire (including a link from Keighley)
A 17-mile linear route suitable for horse riders, mountain bikers and walkers, providing access to the Pennine Bridleway.  The link runs from St Ives Estate near Bingley to join the Mary Towneley Loop near Widdop Reservoir in Calderdale on a variety of tracks giving fantastic views. Bingley train station is only a short cycle away.
