1 Your Account

1.1 Access to the Website and Services is not authorised by any other person or entity using your User ID other than you and you are responsible for preventing such unauthorised use. Individuals and entities whose privilege to access the Website or use the Services has previously been terminated by Yorkshire.com may not register for an account, nor may you designate any such individuals to use your account on your behalf.

1.2 Yorkshire.com relies on User IDs to determine whether users accessing the Website and using our Services are authorised to do so. If someone accesses our Website or Services using a User ID that we have issued to you, we will assume that access has been made by you. You are solely responsible for any and all access to the Website or use of the Services by persons using your User ID. Please notify us immediately if you become aware that your User ID is being used without authorisation.

2 Security and Privacy

2.1 Our secure server software encrypts all your payment card details. The process scrambles all the information, allowing no unauthorised third party to intercept the data. 2.2 Information such as credit card information provided in connection with the purchase of a Deal is maintained with appropriate privacy and security protections. No sensitive information (including credit card details) is held on the Website.

2.3 You agree that information provided to us in connection with the purchase of a Deal, other than your credit card information, may be disclosed by us to the Merchant for their commercial purposes including for the purposes of providing the Deal to you.

Watersports Centres

Hornsea MereAllerthorpe Lakeland Park, Nr Pocklington, York
Experience windsurfing, sailing and canoeing in over 50 acres of grounds and lakes at this recognised training centre for the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) and British Canoe Union (BCU); the centre is registered with The Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA).

Blue Frog Adventure, Whitby, North Yorkshire
If you are new to paddling and would like a taster session or if you require training and assessment or you just want to brush up and enhance your paddling skills, Blue Frog can deliver a bespoke training package to children and adults within the BCU training and awards schemes for open canoeing and kayaking. They also offer buggy and board based power kiting training on Yorkshire's coast.

Carlton Lodge Outdoor Centre, Thirsk, North Yorkshire
Set in 12 acres of beautiful grounds, a unique blend of parkland, woods and lakes, and open to visits from anyone, no matter what your age or ability. Activities on offer include Canadian canoes and kayaking.

Fosse Hill Jet Ski Centre, Brandesburton, East Yorkshire
Jump on a jet ski and take to the waters of Fosse Hill Lake. You can also enjoy lakeside walks, an adventure playground and a quad bike track.

Hatfield Water Park, Hatfield, Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Try canoeing, kayaking, dinghy sailing and wind surfing - with watersport coaching by fully trained and qualified instructors, you'll soon be a dab hand. Then enjoy a stroll around the lakeside landscape with its mix of spreading trees and shrubbery.

Hornsea Mere, Hornsea, East Yorkshire
Near the east coast seaside town of Hornsea, Hornsea Mere is Yorkshire's largest freshwater lake with more than 250 acres of navigable water. And all this water is put to good use.  It's an ideal location for trying gentler water sports including dinghy sailing, rowing and fishing. Set in beautiful surroundings perfect for a ramble, this site brings you closer to nature and is right on the coast for some gentle exploration.

Learn and Experience run residential and day Adventure, Activity and Sport Camps and English Language Summer Schools for children based from three locations across North and West Yorkshire.

Pugneys Watersports Centre, Pugneys Country Park, Wakefield
With two lakes, a modern watersport centre and café, Pugneys offers fun watersports for all the family. The largest lake is a 100 acre watersports oasis with fantastic sailing, wind surfing, canoeing and kayaking. You can hire a watercraft, book a watersports course or bring your own craft. Coaching courses are arranged in all the disciplines for both adults and juniors.

Xperience Adventure, Sleningford Water Mill, North Stainley, Near Ripon, North Yorkshire 
Learn to canoe with the friendly folk based at Sleningford Water Mill or take part in one of their a 1, 2 or 3 day adventures, where you can enjoy rock climbing, archery, abseiling and much more. They also offer the chance to go White Water Rafting on the River Washburn.
