1 Your Account

1.1 Access to the Website and Services is not authorised by any other person or entity using your User ID other than you and you are responsible for preventing such unauthorised use. Individuals and entities whose privilege to access the Website or use the Services has previously been terminated by Yorkshire.com may not register for an account, nor may you designate any such individuals to use your account on your behalf.

1.2 Yorkshire.com relies on User IDs to determine whether users accessing the Website and using our Services are authorised to do so. If someone accesses our Website or Services using a User ID that we have issued to you, we will assume that access has been made by you. You are solely responsible for any and all access to the Website or use of the Services by persons using your User ID. Please notify us immediately if you become aware that your User ID is being used without authorisation.

2 Security and Privacy

2.1 Our secure server software encrypts all your payment card details. The process scrambles all the information, allowing no unauthorised third party to intercept the data. Your browser will confirm that you are shopping in a secure environment by showing either a locked padlock icon or an image of a padlock next to the payment details in the relevant area of the Website.

2.2 Information such as credit card information provided in connection with the purchase of a Deal is maintained with appropriate privacy and security protections. No sensitive information (including credit card details) is held on the Website.

2.3 You agree that information provided to us in connection with the purchase of a Deal, other than your credit card information, may be disclosed by us to the Merchant for their commercial purposes including for the purposes of providing the Deal to you.

Mother's Day is the time of year when you can show your mum just how much she really means to you, and because there's so much to see and do in Yorkshire, there's something different for everyone.

If you're stuck for ideas and don't want to buy the usual box of chocolates or bouquet of flowers. Or maybe you just need a little bit of inspiration to get you started. Plan a day out in Yorkshire and make it one to remember!


North Yorkshire

If you fancy a bit of alone time with your mum, why not take her for a walk through the Yorkshire Dales with a mooch around Bolton Abbey (stopping off at the Devonshire Fell for lunch!).

Of course, for a more gentle walking experience, the North York Moors is stunning in Spring with amazing views from Sutton Bank in particular. Alternatively there are many other great locations to choose from, go to our walks in Yorkshire section for more ideas.

A warm welcome awaits you this Mother's Day at Solberge Hall Hotel. Nestled between the Yorkshire Dales and the Vale of York, this distinctive Georgian Mansion provides an idyllic country retreat in which to enjoy this special day.

If relaxation is your plan, then Devonshire Arms Country House Hotel & Spa, Middlethorpe Hall and Spa, Turkish Baths in Harrogate will leave your mum feeling relaxed and at one with the world.

For delicious food head to the Feversham Arms and Verbena Spa in Helmsley and treat your mum to a relaxing Sunday lunch with the whole family in the Award Winning Restaurant.

Indulge in a Woodland Walk followed by a delicious 2 course Sunday Lunch at Bivouac this Mothers Day. Serving in the lovely Cafe Barn from 12pm - 2:30pm on Sunday 15th March.

If you are taking her for a carefully crafted bite to eat, then may be pop in to Fodder and let her pick some bits from their extensive farm shop.

Finally, The Star Inn, Harome always serves up beautiful Yorkshire fare.

West Yorkshire

West Yorkshire has a maginificent selection of restuarants to take your mum to including Chaophraya and Palm Sugar Lounge, Hansa's Restaurant and Claret Jug at Oulton Hall amongst many others.

If you fancy getting out and exploring the Yorkshire arts with your mum, then why not check out one of these four fantastic Yorkshire Sculpture Triangle venues. The Hepworth Wakefield, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Leeds Art Gallery and The Henry Moore Institute are all less than 30 minutes away from each other, all completely free to enter and all filled with a wide selection of interesting and thought-provoking artwork. What's not to like?

Salute starts with what Italians are most proud of - fantastic, rustic dishes, using recipes that have been tried, tested and loved! As well as serving exceptional food, we aim to create a "neighborhood" venue, inspired by the "Italian table" where people relax, share, and enjoy each other's company

It's the perfect time of the year to enjoy the first signs of spring at Harewood House with carpets of snowdrops in the gardens and tea and cake in the café. Harewood's grounds, gardens, courtyard café, shop, bookshop and below stairs in the House are all open, and every mum will receive a complimentary bunch of spring daffodils!

If a pamper might be in order, then check out The Bridge Inn Hotel and Spa, or the perhaps the luxurious Titanic Spa in Huddersfield.

South Yorkshire

There's a great selelction of restuarants to take your mum to in South Yorkshire, including Silversmiths and The Milestone in Sheffield.

Or, if you are after something extra special for mum, then head to The Old Vicarage - consistently acclaimed for nearly 30 years by the most established and well respected food guides and critics, it remains the first and only Michelin starred restaurant in Sheffield and indeed in South Yorkshire. Why not go have a stroll round the Sheffield Antiques Quarter? This is a vibrant Quarter in Sheffield with over 35 businesses selling Vintage, Retro, Arts, Antiques Salvage and Militaria. With 6 Antique Centres and many bustling independent shops and cafes the Quarter has something for everyone. Whether you are looking for authentic period antiques, affordable traditional furniture, retro home furnishings or the popular trend of shabby chic painted furniture you will find it here.

If you take the weight of your mum's feet and do some serious relaxing, then Mercure St Pauls Hotel & Spa in Sheffield, Tankersley Manor, Barnsley or Spa 1877 in Sheffield will help your mum feel really special...of course you'll probably want to book yourself in for a treatment at the same time so you can keep her company!

East Yorkshire

There's a great selction of restuarants to check out across East Yorkshire including The Westwood, The Star at Sancton, the Michelin Starred Pipe and Glass Inn and not forgetting the Millhouse Restaurant & Bar at Skidby.

If you want your mum you get some full on R&R, check her in for a treatment or two at Sessions Spa or perhaps take her to The Garden Retreat which is part of The Barn House also has a café and 5* accommodation.

Fancy something different? Well take your mum to see the cute new born lambs at Lambing Sunday at Bishop Burton College. There's also flower stalls, tractors and farm machinery to look at and a childrens teasure hunt too!
