National Accessible Scheme
VisitEngland's National Accessible Scheme is a voluntary scheme which accommodation providers can participate in to accurately promote the facilities they offer to disabled guests, older visitors or other visitors with specific access requirments.
Participants are committed to accessibility and you can be sure that these businesses have been assessed against demanding criteria. National Accessible Scheme symbols are displayed against each entry.
To search for properties within the scheme, choose your accommodation type from the drop down menus in the Finding box on the right hand side of this page and click Find. You will then be able to refine your search by selecting the relevant accessibility category to meet your needs.

Self-assessed accessibility information
In addition, many properties throughout Yorkshire have provided self assessment accessibility information, including detailed information about the accessibility of their facilities, from the supply of ramps and disabled parking, to the provision of shower support rails in showers. This information is displayed as a separate tab on each business entry listed on yorkshire.com
As self assessment accessibility information is provided by the properties themselves, Welcome to Yorkshire cannot accept liability for its accuracy.
Welcome to Yorkshire is working closely with DisabledGo, an Internet service which transforms the daily choices available to millions of disabled people, their families and friends, to ensure that we can provide comprehensive information to our visitors via this website. Detailed information is available about accessible hotels and guest houses, places to eat and drink, places to visit and much more. Check out access information for Barnsley, Bradford, Hull, York, Wakefield, Kirklees, Calderdale and Leeds in Yorkshire.
