1.1 Access to the Website and Services is not authorised by any other person or entity using your User ID other than you and you are responsible for preventing such unauthorised use. Individuals and entities whose privilege to access the Website or use the Services has previously been terminated by Yorkshire.com may not register for an account, nor may you designate any such individuals to use your account on your behalf.
1.2 Yorkshire.com relies on User IDs to determine whether users accessing the Website and using our Services are authorised to do so. If someone accesses our Website or Services using a User ID that we have issued to you, we will assume that access has been made by you. You are solely responsible for any and all access to the Website or use of the Services by persons using your User ID. Please notify us immediately if you become aware that your User ID is being used without authorisation.
2 Security and Privacy
2.1 Our secure server software encrypts all your payment card details. The process scrambles all the information, allowing no unauthorised third party to intercept the data. Your browser will confirm that you are shopping in a secure environment by showing either a locked padlock icon or an image of a padlock next to the payment details in the relevant area of the Website.
2.2 Information such as credit card information provided in connection with the purchase of a Deal is maintained with appropriate privacy and security protections. No sensitive information (including credit card details) is held on the Website.
2.3 You agree that information provided to us in connection with the purchase of a Deal, other than your credit card information, may be disclosed by us to the Merchant for their commercial purposes including for the purposes of providing the Deal to you.
2.5 Any communications between you and Welcome to Yorkshire, such as email or other correspondence, in which you offer suggestions or comments for improving or modifying our Services will be deemed by us to be non-confidential and non-proprietary and you agree that such information may be used by us without any limitation whatsoever.

Under the Enjoy England ratings scheme, hotels have to be licensed, offer dinner at least 5 nights a week (unless categorised as a Metro Hotel) and have all rooms en suite or with private bathrooms. The different hotel categories are: Hotel, Small Hotel, Country House Hotel, Metro Hotel, Town House Hotel and Budget Hotel, which you will see displayed on the marquee below the star ratings.
You may also see the old star ratings on various accommodation providers who are awaiting assessment under the new scheme. These star ratings symbolise the levels of service and range of facilities. Hotels are required to meet progressively higher standards as they move up the scale from one to five stars.
1 star: All rooms ensuite or private.2 star: Dinner usually available every evening.3 star: All rooms ensuite. Room service also available.4 star: 24-hour room service and 50% of rooms have a bath and a shower.5 star: A number of permanent suites and enhanced services eg concierge, full afternoon tea.
The different Guest Accommodation categories include: Guest Accommodation, Bed & Breakfast, Guest House, Farmhouse, Inn, Restaurant with Rooms (no star rating).

Any inspected Caravan and Camping park must be clean with good standards of maintenance and customer care. Includes the categories: Holiday Park, Touring Park, Camping Park.
Parks are assessed on the standard they provide to visitors in all aspects: facilities, cleanliness, service, pitches, groundsmanship, play areas and leisure facilities where provided.

Hotels, Guest Accommodation and Self Catering that 'go that extra mile' to make your stay a special one, will be awarded a high star rating and may also achieve a Gold or Silver Award.
Gold and Silver Awards are given to establishments which not only achieve the overall quality required for their grading, but also reach the highest levels of quality in those specific areas which guests identify as being really important to them.
The areas identified included cleanliness, the quality of bedrooms and bathrooms (the furniture, fixtures and fittings), their comfort and ease of use, and the service and efficiency given throughout the guest's stay. Gold and Silver awards recognise those establishments with particular strengths in these areas.
Enjoy England recognise that there is no such thing as an average customer, and they've been busy fine-tuning their schemes to make your selection of accommodation even easier. As walking becomes ever more poplar in the UK, so does the demand for quality accommodation to have the facilities which walkers require. Accomodation within the Walkers Welcome scheme will have space for drying clothes, boot scrapes, a first aid kit and maps and books available to aid you on your route, amoungst other things.
Accommodation within the Cyclists Welcome scheme gives cyclists the confidence that when you book, your needs will be well catered for. A seperate and secure facility should be provided with a heat source for drying outdoor clothes. A bike rack and a lockable undercover area for overnight storeage should be onhand, along with that all important puncture repair kit and washing facilities.
The Families Welcome accreditation gives you the confidence that you are booking somewhere which will meet the needs of your family. Storage for pushchairs, nappy bins, family bedrooms and refrigeration facilities for baby food are just some of the benefits of booking such accommodation.
Taking your pet away on holiday with you might make your perfect break. If so, look out for the Welcome Pets! logo. This accommodation will offer protective mats for pets eating in bedrooms where permitted, a scoop and bags for dogs, a litter tray for cats and pet washing facilities. Any restrictions should be made clear to the guests at the time of booking to avoid any problems.
