Beacon View is a detached, beautifully restored sandstone barn. It has its own drive, enclosed garden and large undercover patio with BBQ area and like it’s neighbour Dale View, has glorious views across Danby Dale.

Converted in 2010, Beacon View retains it’s charming character thanks to the skilled and sensitive restoration work. The interior style is contemporary, calm and welcoming, and the exposed stonework and beautiful green oak timbers contribute to an overall feeling of tasteful luxury. The Yorkshire flagstone flooring found throughout the ground floor benefits from underfloor heating.

The Living Room

With a log-burning stove for winter and chilly evenings, comfy leather sofas and a dramatic double height ceiling, the living room is a great place to relax and get together. A flat-screen satellite TV, well stocked bookshelves and rural antiques complete the room.

The Kitchen

The bright and airy kitchen is well equipped with an integrated fridge/freezer, fan-assisted double electric oven and induction hob. A dishwasher and 4 slot toaster complete the line up.

The utility room has ample space for coats, boots and shoes. It has a Belfast sink, washing and drying machines, a microwave, and an ironing board. There is also a separate cloakroom.

Master Bedroom

Wake up in the ground floor master bedroom and the magnificent moors landscape unfolds at the foot of your big brass bed through the floor to ceiling arched french windows. This bedroom also has a ensuite wet room. There are convenient grab rails next to the toilet and shower.

Bedroom 2

With it’s original stone fireplace and sloping ceiling this is a cosy and characterful bedroom. There is a king-size bed, and a flatscreen TV and DVD player.

Bedroom 3

This is a pretty twin bedroom with two ‘zip and link’ beds.

A large family Victorian bathroom with mood lighting and concealed speakers connected to the music system, ensure that deep relaxation after the day’s exertions is guaranteed.

There is a large private garden – mainly laid to lawn – which can be used for croquet. For al-fresco dining there is a covered flagstone patio. Originally a hay-barn, this area has a gas BBQ and table and chairs. A lovely place for an impromptu party or for entertaining friends.
