Brownber Hall, a boutique guest house in the Yorkshire Dales, overlooking the Howgill Fells and a stone’s throw from the Lake District. Brownber Hall is a modern take on the quintessential British country home – the perfect place for scenic walks, romantic breaks, outdoor adventures and picturesque views.

Dinner is served in our fully licensed restaurant, Thursdays to Sundays, from 6.30 -9pm (we can provide dinner on other nights as well, with prior arrangement).

We serve fresh, stone-baked pizzas made in the Neapolitan style. We use our own sourdough and the finest quality ingredients, locally sourced wherever possible.

Brownber Hall has 8 comfortable bedrooms, all with an en-suite bathroom. Choose from double, twin and single rooms, all furnished to a high standard with 300 thread count linen, TVs and tea/coffee making facilities.

Guests can relax in the lounge in front of the log fire, in the drawing room or (on sunnier days) out on the terrace overlooking the magnificent Howgill Fells.

Children are also welcome. We have a pull-out camp bed, which can be set up in any of the superior double rooms for a £15 supplement. Cots are also available upon request for a £10 supplement.

If you have been for a walk, take advantage of our drying room.

We also have a couple of dog friendly rooms. Please contact us prior to booking if you would like to bring your furry friend, to check that we can accommodate them.
