  1. Hi – we recently booked to stay in Evergreen cottage in Addingham which I can see appears on the Yorkshire site as recommended accommodation. I felt compelled to contact you as the accommodation was not good. The accommodation is very poor and unclean. I suspect the promo photos were taken when the cottage was first listed 5 years ago. The front and back gardens were overgrown, toilet did not flush, kitchen equipment dirty, fridge not clean, rugs and furniture stained and flooring very dirty, sofa collapsed when sitting on it, holes in bedding, greasy head imprints on headboards, dirty utensils on kitchen windowsill, bathroom overwhelming smell of bleach and window so dirty I thought it was opaque glass! Consistent comments in the visitors book over 3 year period refer to the toilet and dirty stair handrails. The response the booking agent obtained from the owner made it clear they had been made aware of the problems and had no intention of rectifying them.
