Description

“Every so often you come across a park with a difference; Naburn Lock is such a find. It’s very easily accessible from the dual carriageway and only four miles outside York. Yet it’s set in an area of outstanding beauty, where the hustle and bustle of busy life seems a long way away.”

The park is a friendly family-owned site, run by Peter & Catherine Wilkinson, and our aim is to please all our customers.

The park is situated 4 miles south of York, half a mile from the unspoiled village of Naburn, by the River Ouse, and adjacent to the picturesque Naburn Locks. It is well-placed to explore the many different areas of Yorkshire, such as the Dales, the North Yorkshire Moors and the coastal resorts of Whitby, Bridlington and Scarborough.

The tranquillity of this rural setting close by the river, is perfect to relax and watch the wildlife, with the Historic city of York only 4 miles away for those wishing to explore.

The Countryside Park has mainly level pitches which are in a well sheltered area divided by mature hedges.

City Cruises York

For those wishing to access the Historic City of York, there are regular bus services which leave from the entrance to the Park, however for those wishing to sit back and relax, the City Cruises York Riverboat sails from Naburn Locks to the City Centre at Weekends.

McArthur Glen Designer Outlet

The York Designer Outlet is also only a 10 minute car journey from Naburn Lock Caravan Park, which also offers a Park & Ride bus service into York, leaving every 15 minutes throughout the day.
