About your Accommodation
The attractive lounge has two large 3-seater sofas, footstool, occasional table and extending dining table and chairs for four people. If you’re staying in there’s a widescreen TV, DVD player, plenty of books, radio and CD player and of course the fantastic views to occupy you. A stove-effect electric fire supplements the background heating if required.
Patio doors lead directly from the lounge onto a sun-deck.
The kitchen is smart, modern and generously-equipped with washer, dryer, hob and oven, fridge-freezer and microwave.
The sparkling brand-new bathroom has WC, washbasin and bath with electric shower over.

Good-quality garden furniture is provided for use on the private deck. There are also private lawned areas for your use.
The communal gardens are beautifully kept and great for a morning stroll. Take care if there are young children in your party as the carp pond is unfenced.

About 2 miles south of Scarborough Town Centre.
The Cleveland Way footpath runs along the clifftops nearby so you can enjoy a wonderfully scenic walk south into Town. (30-40 minutes to reach South Cliff).
The bungalow overlooks Cayton Bay which is a favourite destination for surfers who access it just down the coast. There are woodland footpaths down to the beach from the bungalow but they are rather steep and would only suit the very energetic. There’s an alternative route (paved pathway/steps) to Cayton Bay a little further south.
A 10-minute drive takes you right into Scarborough …and it’s only 15 minutes by car south to Filey. If you prefer not to take your car into Town you can leave it at the Park & Ride about 1/2 mile away….or walk to the Bus Stop near the entrance to Knipe Point to catch one of the regular buses into Town. Inland you will discover the splendid North York Moors National Park. Further west are the delightful market towns of Pickering (home of the NYM Steam Railway) and Helmsley and Thirsk (Herriot Country). You can reach historic York in less than an hour by train or car.
THE POND IN THE CENTRE OF THE SITE IS UNFENCED….Please use caution.
