The Snooty Fox is a lovely pub with food, which sits right off the main street in the pretty little town of Kirkby Lonsdale, which sits right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, in between the Dales and the Lakes, making it an excellent place to stay a few days, whichever way you are travelling.
Its only around 10 minutes to the M6 from here, making it extremely accessible to travellers from North or South – Manchester Airport is an hour and a half away – this is therefore an excellent place to stay on your way to or from Yorkshire to that international airport.
There’s much to see and do in Kirkby Lonsdale, too. Take a stroll past the cricket club to Devil’s Bridge, or sip an ale or two in the brewery or the many fine hospitality venues in the town.
