One of a small number of cottages situated within the grounds of Eldin Hall, this detatched house has the bonus of a large enclosed garden. Eldin Hall Cottages are located midway between Scarborough and Filey – approximately 1 mile inland from the sea at Cayton Bay. In a rural setting yet only ½ mile from the villages of Osgodby and Cayton where you can find pubs serving good food and shops to buy provisions.
This property is particularly suitable for those with a pet or children because of the enclosed garden. Ideal for those looking for a base to visit the North York Moors and Coast, but who appreciate a quieter setting in the evenings for cosy nights in, or from where you can walk to a village inn.
The entrance is through a vestibule which opens into the fully-equipped kitchen and adjoining dining area. Beyond the kitchen is the tastefully furnished lounge – a comfortable and relaxing area with settee, chairs, TV and open fire. There is a utility room which contains the washing machine and the downstairs loo.
Upstairs are two bedrooms and the bathroom. The master bedroom features a lovely four-poster bed. The second bedroom is an attractive twin room. The large bathroom has a bath, separate shower, loo and wash basin.
Pleasant views from most windows over the garden and beyond to open fields. Garden furniture is provided. One well behaved pet is welcome. Other pets by arrangement with owner.
Plenty of parking within the grounds. Bed linen and towels and central heating included in the tariff. Fuel for the open fire is not provided but is easy to obtain – please ask the owner on arrival. The open fire is not necessary for warmth as the property is centrally heated.
