The Old Dairy Farm was purchased in July 2005 by Paul and Pam Cajiao, owners of the critically acclaimed Blacksmith’s Table Restaurant in Washington village, Tyne and Wear. The overall conversion of the 3 barns into luxury country retreat is an ongoing project, with phase one now completed. The current facility offers 3 beautiful rooms with executive en-suite facilities and high quality furnishings. Phase two; the new wine and coffee lounge was opened during the summer of 2008.
The farm is the original home of Wensleydale cheese dairy herd and is ideally located for visits to the Wensleydale Cremery, Ribblehead Viaduct, the nearby towns of Hawes, Ingleton, Settle and Sedbergh, White Scar Caves, Aysgarth Falls, Bolton Castle and much more.
In addition to the luxurious accommodation, Paul and Pam offer excellent cuisine in the oak beamed, candle-lit lounge/dining room and an interesting range of wines, spirits, liqueurs and malt whiskies. All this plus breath taking scenery, an abundance of bird and wildlife, sheep dog demonstrations, wonderful walks and quaint country pubs!
