Through It All Together

23 June – 19 July
Chris O’Connor’s new play, Through It All Together, is a moving celebration of resilience and the enduring spirit of Yorkshire. Follow Howard and Sue, an ordinary couple bound by their extraordinary passion for Leeds United, as they navigate life with dementia and find unexpected hope in the arrival of the club’s legendary manager, Marcelo Bielsa. This touching story of community, independence and football is not to be missed.
Brainstorm
10 – 12 July
Step inside the teenage mind with Brainstorm, an honest and energetic exploration of how adolescent brains work. Created and performed by members of Leeds Playhouse Youth Theatre, and directed by Eleanor Manners, this production captures the chaos, joy and frustration of growing up. Perfect for families with teenagers — or anyone who’s ever been one.
To Kill a Mockingbird
8 September – 4 October
Aaron Sorkin’s acclaimed adaptation of Harper Lee’s classic novel comes to Leeds Playhouse before its national tour. This gripping courtroom drama has wowed audiences on Broadway and in the West End, bringing new life to a timeless story of racial injustice and moral courage. Early booking is highly recommended.
Romeo & Juliet
18 – 21 June
Northern Ballet’s passionate retelling of Romeo & Juliet remains one of their most loved productions. Shakespeare’s tragic tale of love and conflict is beautifully brought to life through breathtaking dance and powerful storytelling.
Bing’s Birthday
22 – 23 July
Families with little ones can celebrate Bing’s Birthday live on stage. Join Bing and his friends for an enchanting adventure full of songs, surprises and fun moments — perfect for young audiences and fans of the beloved CBeebies series.
Hollie McNish: Brand New Book Tour
11 October
Award-winning poet and author Hollie McNish brings her unique mix of warmth, wit and honest storytelling to Leeds Playhouse this autumn. Expect fresh poems, candid conversation and a memorable evening with one of the UK’s favourite literary voices.
Sandi Toksvig: Friends of Dorothy
28 October
Spend an evening with Sandi Toksvig, who shares stories about her life, books, and the writers she loves. Expect laughter, insight and the chance to see if you really are the ‘Cleverest Person in the Room’.
