Small, village car park but well laid out parking. Honesty box to contribute to upkeep. Gets full on weekends but otherwise a space can usually be found. 5 minutes from just about everywhere in the village.
A great little car park; normally I wouldn’t wax lyrical about such things, but it’s a really handy place to stop if you’re planning a walk, or bike ride, in the dales and don’t want to be stiffed by the parking charges in Hawes. Yes, it’s a little bit bijou, but that’s fine by me - just make sure you get there early enough to find a space! One thing - although the parking is, nominally, free, there is an honesty box. I made sure that I put some money in it - please make sure you do too, otherwise this facility will be taken over by those for whom profit is much more important than convenience and we’ll all be worse off...
Very limited spaces but based on an honesty box system.
Very attractive village but no public toilet facilities.
A very serviceable car park. Take change for the honesty box.
