The Buck Inn Maunby, is set in a beautiful village in the heart of north Yorkshire, Award Winning Chef Matthew Roath & Partner Sammy Clark (front of House) both take their food & Drink very seriously, offering some of North Yorkshires Finest Produce.
The bar has a British country pub feel, with its two roaring fires, wingback chairs & selection of real ales. The restaurant is warm, welcoming and more of a contemporary area, Freshly pressed linen on the tables. A bespoke 16 seat table lying proudly in the conservatory with those of you with lots of friends!
Our adjoining Lounge is more informal, rustic tables with hound print chairs, with another roaring fire, our selection of fine wines are also found here.
Chef Matthew Roath is committed to sourcing as much local and seasonal produce as possible, with the emphasis being unpretentious and quality food.. he has been previously awarded a number of nationally recognized awards, including 2AA Rosettes for ‘Culinary Excellence’ and an inclusion in the Michelin Pub guide.
We need not mention that the Buck Inn at Maunby will be taking its food very seriously. The Buck Inn has a variety of menu’s to suit everyone, whether it be a Ploughman’s lunch in the bar, a good old hearty Steak & Ale Suet Pudding or Rare Breed Belly Pork in the Restaurant. We also prepare Vegetarian options that change regularly, and children are welcome with their own specially designed menu.
