Description
Set in the beautiful countryside between Masham and Ripon, The Himalayan Garden and Sculpture Park is home to over 80 striking contemporary sculptures, situated within 45 acres of stunning woodland and gardens.
The microclimate of the valley makes it fertile ground for the rare blue poppy, alongside the North’s largest collection of rhododendrons, azaleas and magnolias, with nearly 20,000 plants.
The Park features works by internationally renowned artists, all inspired by nature. The beautiful tranquil valley location is further enhanced by a Pagoda, Summerhouse, Norse Hut, Contemplation Circle and Himalayan Shelter, all complimented by three lakes and decorative bridges.
New for 2022, local sculptor Anna Whitehouse has created an 80-metre visual masterpiece with 1,300 handcrafted ceramic Himalayan poppies cascading in a blue haze down the hillside.
A wide selection of refreshments are available from our Tearoom and Horsebox; serving hot and cold drinks, freshly prepared sandwiches, soup and hot food along with delicious, sweet treats for indoor and outdoor dining.
