Description

The Oil Can Cafe is situated in The Carding Shed visitor centre and forms part of a local emporium alongside IK Classics, High Society Vintage Clothing & other retail outlets. Here you can take afternoon tea serviced in delicate china cups and saucers, and sample some of the delicious home made cakes on offer.

Established in 2012 The Oil Can Café sits within The Carding Shed, which was originally a woollen mill but has now been transformed into a place to browse classic cars, purchase vintage clothing and rest a while in our quirky and vibrant surroundings.

Only a stones throw from the centre of Holmfirth and Last of the Summer Wine country you’ll find us as you head out on the Sheffield Road through New Mill & then dip down into Hepworth. As you head up towards the centre of Hepworth look out for the sign to The Carding Shed on your right.

The whole inspirational concept is the brainchild of Nicola & Ian Kellett and expands upon their already hugely successful classic car business, IK Classics, which was established by Ian after 25 years in the motor trade.
