On the route of the Tour De Yorkshire 2015, this Country Inne and restaurant offers a heady mixture of good ale, larger, wine and food. With an open plan bar that has room for 62 covers, there is also a separate 22 cover dining area for a more intimate occasion. Having an elemental feel with wooden décor and exposed brickwork, there is a homely feel in the winter with the two fires and a relaxed feel in the summer with a spacious, furnished, patio area with floral displays, which won pubs in bloom in 2014.
With two resident cask ales in Black Sheep and John Smiths, our guest ale changes weekly sourced from local breweries for a traditional feel, our extensive wine list contains 16 varieties from around the world to cater for all pallets. There is also free WiFi throughout the pub and restaurant.
