Features Of The Maze
One of York’s most popular summer attractions is open from mid July – early September ready to baffle visitors with its’ new design. Carved out of an amazing 1 million growing maize plants York Maze is the largest maze in Europe and one of the largest in the world! As well as the maze there are over 20 rides attractions and shows for all ages, including a large sand and water adventure playground, three exhilarating tube slides, birds of prey centre, the House of Cornfusion where rooms magically begin to shrink, fall over, and even turn upside down. Watch the amazing racing pigs, get a soaking in “Angry Crows” or take the tractor and trailer ride to experience Crowmania, then take a break in the café or browse our fantastic gift shop. Ticket numbers are limited each day and must be booked online via the York Maze website.
Also during October Half Term we are open for Halloween by day for the kids and during the evening for our fantastically scary Hallowscream nights.
