Stayed for one night in a Campervan with electric hook up. The location is great, five minute walk from The Woolpack pub (excellent food). Very peaceful but not too far from the main road (A6038). Had a drink outside the clubhouse and watched the cricket. Facilities are very clean, not many toilets and showers but this wasn't an issue for us.
Friendly helpful staff. Facilities were basic but fine. I stayed here in my motorhome for 1 night. Close to the village of esholt, maybe 10 mins walk. Only real issue is the staff brought another camper van and made them park literally 6 feet from ours leaving us no room to sit out. If we had an awning it would have been impossible to pitch it, and my motorhome is very small. I was sat out enjoying the fine weather until the owner brought the other motorhome guests in so close, kind of ruined the stay and meant we couldnt sit next to our motorhome, as not enough room. It was quite awkward. The campsite was not crowded so I don't know why the owner insisted on placing the new arrival so close.
Very quiet campsite, clubhouse on site friendly guy who runs the club. Clean tidy clubhouse and campsite. Would recommend. Will be going back. Enjoyed a pint with a tuna crunch sandwich at the Woolpack which is only a 5min stroll down the road.
Great place to stay stunning views and walks I enjoyed watching the cricket The only thing that could improve are the facilities i don’t think there are enough for the amount of pitches but don’t let that put you off it is 100% worth staying here
Basic campsite, shower block really not up to scratch. 2 toilets for the full site, one with no lock. Showers scalding hot and not very clean. Bar is nice, good to watch a cricket match. Overall ok, needs an upgrade of facilities before I would come back
