Tap room was shut on the day but I bought a mixed case of 12 bottles - one of all 11 on offer and a second bottle of stout. Worked my way through them this week - all excellent. The Kolsch in particular was absolutely outstanding (way better than those I've had in Koln!). Cheers guys - will be back 👍
Excellent little brewery. With very strange opening times (one would expect to go out for a drink at 6pm on Fri/Sat and that is… closing time!)
Decent beers, friendly staff who let us try a few sips gratis but I thought I wouldn’t take the p and just ordered a tasting board, enjoyed them all! A few choices of NA stuff too for drivers. Don’t be the driver is my advice! Aysgarth Falls was my standout.
6 of us popped in one Saturday afternoon in September 2023. Drinks we had were lovely. Staff were really friendly. Nice little bar area. Very cosy.
Superb selection of traditional and craft style beers. Not what you would expect from a country side traditional spot. Westcoast IPA , NEIPA, Sours alongside the traditional stuff. The tap room was unfortunately closed but it looked great. The Head Brewers wife took us through all the takeaway beers on offer and was very informative, we will be looking forward to going back.
