Riverside B&B

Beautifully kept, quaint B&B with fantastic views over the river. Hosted by the lovely Roxane who was attentive, warm and welcoming. Delicious breakfast with the sausage and bacon coming from the charming local butchers shop downstairs. Would eagerly recommend a visit.

Stayed 3 nights here it was perfect. Roxana is very kind and helpful and makes knick out breakfasts. The room we stayed in was great, clean and even sime fresh milk in a little fridge. Bainbridge is such a lovely place to stay. Thank you. Would definitely recommend.

What can I say about Riverside B&B? Chosen by chance as we were looking for a short break in quiet area. Ticked all the boxes, called to book directly, and it was done and booked in moments, very friendly on phone. On arrival, self check in was easy, everything was as shown on website, no smoke and mirrors! Beautiful mill building, with so many original features and charm left on display, which is excellent. Room was a good size, en-suite larger than expected. Everything was clean and well presented. Roxana was the perfect host, even checking in with us after we arrived to check all was good. Breakfast was outstanding, local producer cooked perfectly, and ample choice, great setup for the day. Roxana had some great suggestions for routes and places to see, one never to ignore a locals advice we took note and went on our way, so thank you! Riverside, the clue is in the name, has a cascading river beside it, so you hear water all the time, which I find soothing. Village is really quiet, and there are a choice of pubs in Askrigg, if local ones don’t suit, again, take the locals advice on this! All in all, a great place to stay, and good base for the surrounding areas, it was over too quickly. We will be back.

We have just spent a lovely two nights at the Riverside, beautiful setting, excellent room and most importantly a brilliant host ! A warm cosy feel and made to feel welcome from the start. Thank you Roxana, we will definitely be staying again when we next venture into the dales. Nick & Vicky
