Good little ground (oldest in the Football League in South Yorkshire). The food is arguably reasonably priced but the drinks are a touch on the pricey side. Stewards were okay and helpful when needed to be. Stadium was clean and in good nick for its age. View from stands was good.
Great away day. Proper old style traditional stadium very near the town centre, 5-10 minutes walk from the station. Super friendly, warm and welcoming staff and supporters. Atmosphere wasn’t too bad. Decent view from my seat right next to the wall in the away end, row Z seat 2. You can buy programmes from sellers around the ground (cash only) or at the ticket office (card payments too). Food and drink options not too bad, a little pricey though. Overall a really nice experience.
This is an ok ground to visit, not the greatest atmosphere, the home support only came to life once they started scoring, but at least there and many restricted views in the away end. And i have to say I was underwhelmed with the choices of Carling or Coors to drink. We parked a short distance up the hill at the Metrodome, and that was free, though I think we were lucky as its not the largest car park. There is a huge car park right outside the ground but experience has taught me to try and find somewhere slightly further away. We left 15 mins before the end as it was abysmal football from Luton, so got away swiftly.....
Saw Barnsley vs Rotherham the fans were nice not loud and recommended for kids
It's a football stadium, still in its original location and the West stand still has some original wooden seating in place. Can have a fantastic atmosphere at times, one of my favourite places to go.
