Welcome to the Corner Cupboard, somewhere special and that little bit different for you to visit. A popular day time restaurant and charming shop set in an old school House nestled in a little village of Birdforth in North Yorkshire a few miles away from James Herriot Territory, Thirsk.

Our licensed Restaurant offers delicious home made scones and tea cakes, light lunch and more substantial meals.

The Corner Cupboard provides a unique shopping experience, with a warm array of golds, pinks, creams, pretty drapes and flickering candles filling what has often been described as an Aladdin's Cave of beautiful interior and gift ideas.
