Lovely spot to park for a view of the river and the stunning Weir..... no charge for parking. Picnic tables for a sit down and a snack. A great spot there to do a launch from a canoe / kayak
I was recording a video for my YouTube channel More Than Just a Cleaner with Steve. Wet launched our crafts under the bridge and paddled up the Ure for a way. The car park is great with lots of spaces, picnic benches and an awesome view of the weir.
Great to find a free parking space. It has access to the canal, which my husband and I used to kayak up the river. We will be back and use this parking place again.
Smallish car park but good for a visit in our campervan. No height restrictions. Short walks from the picnic area but longer walks just across the road along the canal.
A great car park with a fantastic weir view and an honest box. The town is well worth a visit with two rivers, a canal and many nice cafes.
