The staff are extremely accomodating and friendly, excellent service, and a vast selection of different baked goods ranging from sweet to savoury. There's also other organic goods such as honey, coffee beans, apple juice, and more. This is one of the only high quality traditional bakeries in the area, and I highly recommend a visit for any bread enthusiast. They also have a selection of high quality oven pizzas available. If you're after a tasty, healthy loaf of bread or a sweet treat then give them a try! I highly recommend the spelt and wholemeal, as well as the peach cake.

The bread here is 10/10. There is a rye sourdough that is some of the best bread I have ever tasted, it’s absolute perfect toasted with butter. The blueberry donut was delicious and the custard donut was so fresh. The lady serving us was absolutely lovely. I would travel a long distance for this bread!

Best karpanka we've ever eaten! No exaggeration either. Popped in on Saturday, as a friend wanted to pick up some bread and ended up buying doughnuts, karpanka and some seeded rye bread for myself lol. Doughnuts were soft and fresh, we could taste the Nutella inside too, the custard ones were sliced and filled with lots of custard. The rye bread was fresh and was still moist inside after 3 days, I don't really eat bread, but I've nearly finished half the loaf already. Now, where do I start with the karpanka, I could not fault if I tried, everything from the pastry to the cream filling to the freshness to the taste was amazing. The young lady who served us spoke fluent english and polish and was so polite. Parking is a slight issue, so we parked on Beamsley Road. Prices are not cheap, but are worth it for the quality of the products this bakery sells. This has got to be one of the best bakeries in town, this place is that good! It's just a shame, its quite far from the city centre, but the 10 minute drive was worth it. I'll definitely get my bakery products from here from now on and highly recommend this gem of a bakery. Well done to the team at House of Bread 😊

We passed the House of Bread on a whim and decided to give it a try — what a find! If you’re trying to behave, forget it. The pastries are impossible to resist. I walked out with more than I needed, but don’t regret it one bit. The staff were lovely, there’s loads to choose from, and everything tastes amazing. Definitely recommend!

This place is amazing. I can’t believe I’ve never been here before and I only live up the road! I stopped in for donuts and they were all amazing. I had a plum jam donut and it was spectacular. I also had a little bacon cheese bread thing which was brilliant.
