Alchemy at The Old Chemist

I stumbled across this shop as we stopped by to book a restaurant and it is such a beautiful little shop. I bought some autumnal mushrooms and had a lovely chat. Once I left I was wishing I had bought a second one for my sister as it had dandelion clocks on which is a reminder of our mum that we had just lost. My husband rang up and it went through to a different lady who wasn't working that particular day but she messaged my husband with the number of the lady who had served us. He managed to reserve me a second mushroom for my sister. When I went to pick it up the lovely lady added a little extra gift in my bag. I felt very overwhelmed at such a lovely gesture. I will definitely return when we come back to Bridlington such brilliant customer service. Thank you ❤️ x

I recently visited Alchemy the Old chemist, located on High Street in the Old Town Bridlington, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with a warm welcome from the owner, who was not only friendly but also very informative about the shop’s unique offerings. The shop itself is steeped in history, which adds a lovely charm to the whole experience. It’s fascinating to think about all the stories this place could tell. As I browsed, I came across some truly beautiful items, many of which are handmade and just stunning. It’s nice to know you’re supporting local artisans when you find such lovely pieces. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by Alchemy . It’s definitely worth a visit to soak in the atmosphere and check out the exquisite items on display. You might just find something special to take home!

Stumbled across this amazing little shop on the high street in Bridlington old town - what a find!! They have a lovely collection of household items, plants, gifts etc. All very reasonably priced. The owner was very helpful and chatty too. Would recommend popping by.

Amazing shop with an ever changing stock. The historic fittings inside add to the charm and experience. Staff are warm and friendly making every visit a pleasure. If you try one of the workshops you will not be disappointed. A visit to Bridlington Old Town is not complete without a visit to Alchemy at the Old Chemist on High Street.

This is a wonderful place. You can spend time marvelling at its history and viewing the collection of original curiosities before you even begin to peruse the ever changing stock. You will have no problem finding the perfect gift for someone special or buying yourself a well deserved treat. Becks is a lovely lady with an infectious laugh and incredibly warm heart. Not only does she offer a friendly shopping experience but numerous workshops that can make for time out with a loved one or reconnecting with yourself. If you are in Bridlington, even if you are just calling through then a visit to Alchemy at the Old Chemist is a must!!
