Premier Inn Huddersfield North hotel

Room clean & comfortable. Additional cleaning & towel replacement upon request Room location adjacent to car park not recommended. Lots of advisory info positioned within the Room. Excellent full breakfast and service. Comfortable restaurant seating. Exiting the car park to head to Mirfield requires patience due to volume of traffic

Stayed here many years ago and wasn't impressed but thought i would give it a try . I am from brighouse so come a lot to visit gamily . We arrived at decent our but the man who checked us in wasnt very welcoming. Gave us our keys but no info were to go or about parking or breakfast . We had our granddaughter with us so we didnt book breki as we never know what time she will wake as she not the best sleeper. So we came down at 9 which is the quiet time and both restaurant staff and same bloke at reception were very snotty that we hadnt booked and said we would have to wait 45 mins even though i pointed out how many tables were empty and judging by yhe empty space in the car park it was very quiet . He said they were all booked and was welcome to wait and see how busy they were so at this point i thought i would leave before the situation got worse. We had lovely day and came back around 8 to find the room hadnt been done because we hadnt told them . Shame they didnt tell us when we checked in. It might. Not seem big problem but the face of the hotel is reception so a smile and a welcome is what should be the norm. My wige is an hotel manager for over 20 years and i a coach tour driver for neary 47 year so i prob stay in over 109 hotels a year so miserable and unhelpful staff is really annoying . Dreadful room. Not clean and radiator made a horrendous noise everytime it tried to warm the room. Had to turn it off after a few hours and sleep in the cold. Told staff and all the could offer me was to tell me the place was falling apart. Save your money. Don't stay there.

Stayed here end of July 2025. Usual standard of Premier Inn no complaints but the breakfast was fantastic. No hot buffet the ladies took your order and cooked it fresh and brought it you. Made such a difference, I loved it. Special thanks to Hayley and Lisa looking after us in the restaurant.

Rooms were clean and spacious, no complaint on that, only issue we had was they needed air con. It was a very hot week we stayed. If you opened the windows thete was alot of road noise. To be fair we were given room fans but it was an uncomfortable nights sleep. The service was excellent, they could not be more friendly and ghe breakfast I would recommend as the products were fresh and tasty.
