Broughton Sanctuary

I just spent a week there with my Therapeutic Coaching group and my head is still there! The place is so magical from the gorgeous estate, the beautiful grounds to the amazing staff! I feel rejuvenated and well resourced after spending this entire week with my peeps at the Avalon Wellbeing Center which offered a relaxing atmosphere. Also the meals served daily were organic, clean, healthy and delicious food. My room was perfect and the customer service was unbelievable, better than any 4 stars hotels I had ever stayed before. I love this place so much that it feels like I left my heart in Broughton!

Broughton Sanctuary looked brilliant and most impressive with tree planting. We are having a group meeting there and were advised to do a visit to know the way. Met a very nice worker who said our wee girls were fine on paths and leads. We also rang Avalon to confirm that dogs are accepted and was advised that they are on leads. Very accepting or an expanding and developing Nature Reserve.

We got married here in July and stayed for the week before with family at Eden. It was absolutely amazing, and the Broughton Hall staff (especially Simon and Jake) did everything they could do make our time enjoyable. Nothing was too much bother and it really relaxed us. The quality of everything on offer at Broughton is amazing, from the landscaping to the holiday cottages, Avalon spa and Utopia. Really beautiful; we’re planning to visit every wedding anniversary!

What can we say about Broughton Sanctuary... Well it's quite simply one of the best wedding venues around!! Broughton Sanctuary holds a special place in our hearts! We photographed our first ever wedding at Utopia way back in 2011 and we have been so lucky that we have been able to photograph many weddings in the years since. What makes Broughton Sanctuary so unique for weddings is that it has so much variety in it's locations. If you want a grand elegant wedding then the Hall itself is perfect. If you want a small intimate wedding then Eden could be the one or if you are having a laid back wedding with the emphasis on fun and laughter then Utopia is the place! It has multiple properties on the estate where you and your loved ones can stay and provide a great location for getting ready on your wedding day which is hassle free. From a wedding photography perspective we love it because it just feeds creativity. Whichever way you turn there are amazing backdrops for either candid photographs or those beautiful bride and groom portraits it's not copy and paste photography like some wedding venues feel. After over 11 years and 200+ weddings we have shot Broughton Sanctuary is still our absolute Number 1 venue and we are excited for a future visits.

An incredible location for those seeking rest and restoration, not only for the body for the nature around. They've carved out a little nature haven and started a 3000 acres rewilding project worth seeing if you're interested in how rewilding and conservation projects grow. Avalon spa is one of the best in the UK hands down facilities.
